AKC Law receives Organization of the Year Award

AKC Law received the “Organization of the Year” Award at Friday night’s “Living the Dream” Gala for Sheltering Tree.

The award was given for the law firm’s volunteer efforts over the past year. Each month, attorneys and staff—plus their families and friends—visit the Sheltering Tree and interact with the tenants. The firm plans activities for everyone to enjoy, including making holiday cards, painting pumpkins, playing games, and putting together puzzles, along with activities to help out other organizations, like organizing a winter drive for homeless shelters.

Our team, including Randall Hanson, Robert Schartz, Alex Montoya, Andrew Deaver, Payton Hostens, Tom Malicki, John Herdzina, and Brenna Bushey (not pictured) were on hand to accept the award on behalf of the firm.
